SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A young girl was hit in the face by a pellet from a BB gun on Saturday evening.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. It all started at a Chevron gas station at Hillsdale Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
Authorities say a woman at the scene was shot in the face with a BB gun. Moments later, a young girl that was riding on a roller coaster at the nearby Scandia Family Fun Center was also shot in the face.
The young girl was hit in the cheek and will be OK. Her mom took her to the hospital.
All of the rides on the side where the incident occurred were shut down and everyone was moved inside to the arcade area.
A suspect has not been caught.
